Meet The Team

Here in Windsor, we are as interested in investing in our Thames residents as much as we are in investing in new homes. To achieve this our team - Rachel Salter, Gemma Stephenson, Shabana Farooq and Joanne Slade - are working with the community to enhance the quality of life for all our residents and contributing to improving the communities within which they live.

Rachel is the newest addition to the Community Development Team, joining us in November 2010.  Rachel’s role is to manage the team and lead us towards an enhanced focus on resident involvement. Rachel has extensive experience working in Richmond, London and Manchester, with a background in community development and fund raising.

Rachel is currently enrolled on a bee keeping course and hopes eventually to be able to harvest plenty of honey, but this may take a bit more time and experience!  Rachel is also keen to join the staff running group, so that she is fit enough for the 5k run she is undertaking in the new year.

Gemma joined Windsor Housing in July 2005 and during her time has been a Tenancy Support Officer, Customer Services Officer, Neighbourhood Officer and joined the Community Development Team in April 2010.

Gemma is already working hard on our resident involvement goals, including supporting our Residents Involvement Improvement Group - Community Link, training and supporting a team of resident auditors and mystery shoppers and engaging with residents to get involved. 

Shabana Farooq

 Shabana joined Windsor Housing in September 2009 as a Customer Services Officer and then joined the Community Development Team in September 2010.

Shabana is assisting the Community Development Team with administrative duties for the Thames Area Panel and Community Link, as well as planning community events.  The upcoming event that Shabana is working on with her colleague, Gemma, is Santa's Grotto on Sunday 12th December - when she hopes to meet as many residents as possible!

Jo joined Radian in March last year as a Customer Services Officer and then joined the Community Development Team in January 2011.

Jo is assisting the Community Development Team with administrative duties for the Thames Area Panel and Community Link, as well as planning community events.  Jo is getting married in May, so is busy planning the big day, but when she has time she likes to relax in front of a good film!
