Police have officially closed a house in Alton, Hampshire after a Crack House Closure Order was granted.
The order means that no-one can enter the property for three months. During this period it is a criminal offence for anyone to enter the address unless authorised by police.
PC Dave Woods, the Safer Streets Field Officer, said: “Following a search warrant, we discovered evidence of Class-A drug-use linked to the property and we also had complaints from residents about the suspected drug-dealing, activity and disorder, which enabled us to apply for a Crack House Closure Order.”
Radian is now seeking a Possession Order to evict the tenants as we regard this as a clear breach of the Tenancy Agreement.
